Rainbow Scenery Design - Piacenza San Damiano (LIMS) For FS2004
This scenery represents the military airport of Piacenza S.Damiano
sited 20 Km south of Piacenza city,in the northern part of Italy.
The informations for the scenery design were taken from a chart found in the site
www.spotters.it.
The software used for the airport design is Flight Simulator Scenery Design,
using macros founded in the net. I added a TACAN on frequency 117.5 Mhz and
a ILS (simulating a ground controlled approach) for runway 30,on frequency 110.6 Mhz
(Course 299°,Glide Slope 3°).
LIMS is the first airport of Rainbow project,that foresees the design of all italian military airports
( I hope in short time!)
To install the airport simply drag and drop LIMS directory under a Flight simulator directory of your
choice (i.e. "scenery" or "addon scenery") and activate it by the "ADD AREA" command,(you can find it
on menu "settings" ->"scenery library") Remember to restart flight simulator at the end of installation.
