The plane is a Hawker Sea Fury FB11. Aircraft models are provided both with and without drop tanks. These can be selected from within the FS2002 aircraft menu. Four liveries are included - for the Royal Navy, the Royal Canadian Navy, the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Netherlands Navy.
This is a FSDS V2 model for FS2002. It features folding wings, opening cockpit canopy and other moving parts as well as lights and contrail effects. Aircraft and panel by David Hanvey. Textures by Paul Barry. Airfile by Jerry Beckwith.
History

We (David Hanvey and Paul Barry) started to work on the Sea Fury some months ago. Versions are being released for both FS2002 and CFS2. After some abortive work on our part, we were delighted when Jerry Beckwith (www.mudpond.us) offered to provide his excellent airfiles for both versions. This is release 1, which includes the FB11 and four Navy liveries. Our aim is to release a Reno version next (release 2), followed by a two-seater (release 3).
The aircraft has been used and tested in FS2002 pro. We expect it to work in FS2002 std also.
Installation
------------
For automatic installation, unzip to your main FS2002 directory.
To manually install (PREFERABLE), unzip first to a temporary directory. Then copy the folder
SFuryFB11 (found in the aircraft directory) to your main aircraft directory in
FS2002.
Then copy and paste the contents of the EFFECTS folder into your main FS2002 EFFECTS folder.
Finally, copy and paste the contents of the GAUGES folder into your main FS2002 GAUGES
folder. Most of the gauges are from CFS2 plus some freeware add-ons. Not sure who provided all the add-ons originally (too many downloads installed/deleted). Although our thanks to Phillipe Burnage for the hawker.gau. Our apologies for not giving specific credit.
We do not expect that you will be asked to overwrite any files. However, if you are asked
then just say no!
Sound is aliased to the F4U Corsair.
You also have the option to add a new startup smoke effect. This has been designed for the Sea Fury. A new file is included in the 'smoke' folder. Before installing, make a back-up copy of your current fx_engstrt.fx file which is in the FS2002 EFFECTS folder. Then copy the fx_engstrt.fx file supplied in this package to the FS2002 EFFECTS folder. NOTE: The new fx_engstrt.fx only really works for this Sea Fury, so if you select any other aircraft you may wish to re-install your original.
Now just load up FS and fly!
