FS98 scenery. RAF Cranage.

Raf Cranage, was built around 1940, and was tasked with the defense of Liverpool, and Birkinhead docks.

Originally equipped with Hurricanes, which, being a single seat aircraft, proved inefective for night fighter duties, it was replaced by the Boulton paul Defiant, which turned out to be more than adequate for the task, with the extra facility of the rear seat gunner.

Virtually nothing remains of RAF Cranage these days. A sad reminder, of a loss of our heritage.

Many thanks to Mike Dews, for his encouragement, and support. Without which I would have given up, long ago. To all whose components I have used in the building of this scenery. Too many to remember, but thanks to you all and keep on building "API's"

We need more RAF vehicles, Hangars, and general WW2 buildings for FS98.

My thanks also to John Burtenshaw, for providing the Defiant. The aircraft is very unstable, originating, I think from FS4. If I can improve it, and find, and contact the original designer, I may upload it.

This scenery is purely freeware, and such, may be distributed freely and uploaded to any free website. It may NOT be used for commercial use. Nor must any profit be made from it whatsoever. NO inclusion in any CD-ROM package or commercial representation without the authors express permission.

Steve Anderson.
