Waterbird Avation Frigate Amphibious Corporate Jet

This plane is the product of my own imagination. I love flying in the bush but the average bush plane is too slow on longer flights. I recently spotted a concept for an amphibious Biz Jet from a company called Archedyne and the renditions they had got me thinking that I wouldn't mind something like that myself.

I started with a clean sheet and made this plane in about 12 hours from start to flyable beta. after a few hours of flight testing its done.

The Frigate doesn't have a working virtual cockpit but it is visable.

This plane is made for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 but also may work in CFS 2 and Fs 2000 (but not on water)

Paint done in regular civil and Bush Flying Unlimited liverys.

Flying Notes:

The frigate is very easy to fly and tracks the ILS like its welded to it. Landings are made at approx. 110 knots and take off is at about 100 knots with full flaps. It cruises at Mach .68 at 30,000 feet. water landings are a breeze. I'ts also short field capable. I've been able to get it in and out of a 2,200 foot dirt strip.

The model was made with FSDS
It has full moving parts animated with Abacus Aircraft Animator.
SDL Macro's made with SDL Edit By Mike Crostwaite.

Gauges are various freeware and default gauges from Microsoft, Chuck Dome, FSD and others.

Instalation: Unzip the file to a temporary folder. cut and paste the contents of the gauges folder to your main FS 2002 gauges folder. Then cut and paste the plane's folder to your FS 2002 aircraft folder. That's it, go have fun with it.
