Put Word Wrap On.
Unzipping the zip file should give you two directories, one called 'SouthBase' and another called 'extras'. The Extras directory contains an AFCAD file and two VoicePack files along with their installation notes.

INSTALLATION.
NOTE:- If you have installed my 'Happy Bottom Riding Club' scenery, Barnes.zip, then all the .bgl files in SouthBase/Scenery can simply be put into Barnes/Scenery, overwriting the old files and nothing else needs to be done. Otherwise:-

If you have installed FS2002 scenery before you will know what to do, if not, move the SouthBase folder into any folder that you wish to keep your add-on scenery in. I use FS2002/ADDON SCENERY but it can actually go anywhere at all. It can be kept outside FS2002 if you wish.

Start FS2002, go to 'World', 'Scenery Library', click the 'add' button and in the window that opens browse to wherever the SouthBase folder is. Double click on SouthBase, then click 'OK'. When the sim has built the scenery files go to 'World', 'go to airport', 'North America', 'California', 'Edwards South Base'.

ABOUT THIS SCENERY.
The Edwards South Base runway exists on default FS2002 and is landable but not selectable from the FS menu. All my scenery file does is add two start points to the runway and adds the taxiways and hardstands to make the area look a little better for us people who enjoy flying in the vicinity of the World's most famous flight test centre. By the way, the runway is only 4950' long and only 50' wide, so landing big or fast aircraft these is a quite a challenge. I gave the field a fictitious ID of 9L1. Edwards North Base is 9L2 so 9L1 seemed appropriate.

There are three .bgl files. SouthBase.bgl is the main scenery file, SouthBase_A16N.bgl 'hardens' the area to make it taxiable without jolting and bouncing and SouthBase_AFD.bgl is the airfield directories file that adds the Base to the FS 'go to airport' menu.
Because the scenery only uses the default concrete texture there are no textures supplied with this scenery but the 'texture' directory has to be there or FS doesn't like it, so I am told. So keep the SouthBase/Texture directory even though it is empty.
