PRESENTATION

Light aerobatic plane, the Cap-10 is devoted to training and primary competition. Cap means French Aeronautic Shipbuildings.
This aircraft is mainly derivated from the Piel Emeraude. It keeps the same shape but it has been reinforced for aerobatics.
The Cap-10 made its first flight the 22th August 1968 (F-WOPX).

The firts plane were baught by the French Air Force which used them for the first pilots selection.

About 190 plane were built by the society Avions Mudry & Cie. After the cessation of activity, Capaviation restarted the buildings with a modernized mark (carbon wing spar, reinforced landing gear, better roll rate, ...) called Cap-10C

FS MODEL

I started the modeling with FSDS but GMax appeared with its news features. So I finished the model with GMax
The three liveries represent the planes of Bordeaux Aeroclub (F-BNDC n°39), Montréal Aerobatic Club (C-GEGP n°229) and one plane based at Grand Case (F-OGXN n°04)

Full motion. Open the canopy by pressing (Shift+E). The nose's hatch are openable (Shift+E+2). Also you could use (/) if the plane in on the parking !!

FLYING TIPS

First I suggest you to reduce to the minimum the P Factor (in Aircraft Realism) : I did not manage to reduce his willing of turning to the left ...
Positive Snap Roll are possible : max throttle, aileron and rudder (in same the way of the ailerons) and elevator to nose up.
Spins are also available : I suggest you to begin by a snap roll, then reduce power keeping the others moving parts in place. You should also begin by a stall then put the moving parts in maximum position.
Rolls and loopings are easy (be carefull of your speed at the top of a looping !)
Be carefull when landing : the landing gear is rigid !!
