INSTALLATION:

FS2000:

Copy your ENTIRE Ariane 737-300 directory to a temporary folder. Rename the folder to seomthing you wil recognize such as Lauda733 and move it back into your FS2000\aircraft directory. Unzip all the .bmp files contained in this zip archive to the texture folder in your newly created Lauda733 folder and overwrite all files when prompted. Finally, open the aircraft.cfg from your Lauda733 folder and change the title= line to read: title=Lauda B737-3Z9 OE-ILG "John Lennon". That's it.

FS2002:

Inside your existing Ariane 737 directory create a new folder called texture.x whereby x should be the next highest texture directory number, e.g. if your last highest texture folder is texture.3 it should be texture.4, if you only have one texture folder name this one texture.1. Unzip all .bmp files in this zip archive into that new texture.x folder. Add the following lines to your Ariane 737 aircraft.cfg below the last [fltsim] section:

[fltsim.x]
title=Lauda B737-3Z9 OE-ILG "John Lennon"
sim=737-300 <<<<model=
panel=
sound=
texture=x
kb_checklists=737-300_check
kb_reference=737-300_ref
kb_notes=737-300_notes
atc_type=Boeing
atc_id_enable=1
atc_id=OE-ILG
atc_airline=Lauda
atc_flight_number=235
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=737-300
editable=1
description=B737-300 by Ariane Studios. The B737 program began in March 1981. The first B737-300 rolled off the production line at Renton, Washington on Jan 17, 1984
ui_variation=Lauda

Change the x in the [fltsim.x] and texture=x lines to match the number of the texture directory you just created. Copy the line that says sim= from your original Ariane 737 aircraft.cfg [fltsim.0] and use it to replace the same line in the section for this repaint. The sim= line must match. If you want to have FS2002 style lighting add the following: to the bottom of your Ariane 737 aircraft.cfg:

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0=3, -15.42, -43.24, 1.18, fx_navredm ,
light.1=3, -15.42, 43.24, 1.18, fx_navgrem ,
light.2=2, -14.64, -43.08, 1.18, fx_strobeh ,
light.3=2, -14.64, 43.08, 1.18, fx_strobeh ,
light.4=1, 7.60, 0.00, -4.30, fx_beaconh ,
light.5=1, 4.95, 0.00, 7.20, fx_beaconh ,
light.6=4, 44.41, 0.00, 3.50, fx_vclight ,

To correct the bug that causes full spoilers to be extended when banking right change the line spoilerons_available=1 in your aircraft.cfg to spoilerons_available=0

If you want to add some really cool vapor trails (like the ones that form from the flap edges during takeoff and landing in humid weather or in the morning) add the following lines to your aircraft.cfg as well:

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0=-900,-22.3,-33.0, fx_contrail_s.fx
smoke.1=-900,-22.3,33.0, fx_contrail_s.fx

Press I to activate/deactivate.
That's all.

Happy landings
