This scenery will enhance the default Johannesburg International airport. The scenery is based on an aerial photograph of the airport. Normal FS buildings were used in most cases. The buildings will be enhanced pending the availability of photographs and other reference material.

This scenery is not compatable to any version of Nico Visagie's scenery.
INSTALLATION
1. Run the file fajs1.zip to a folder.
2. Copy the file fajs1.bgl to scenedb/SAScenerySM/Scenery (This is if you have my previous scenery installed).
3. Copy the texture files (*.bmp and *.r8) to scenedb/SAScenerySM/Texture.
4. Run the file SAAfdUp3.exe.
5. Run the file F-serieUpd3.exe.
INSTALLING THE PATCHES
The most difficult part to install is the patch to the afrsafd.bgl. This patch is necessary to allow the AI traffic to properly operate to and from FAJS Intl. Use the following as a guide:
6. If you have SAScen3 installed, there should be no problem installing the latest patch SAAfdUp3.exe.
7. If you have altered your afrsafd.bgl in any other way than by my patches (SAAfdUp1.exe and SAAfdUp2.exe), the latest patch (SAAfdUp3.exe) will not work. The same apply for the F-serieUpd patches.
8. One way to resolve the failed installation of any patch, is to go back to the original default file and to install the patches from there on in succession.
9. I have also included fajs.txt for those who prefer to update the afrsafd.bgl with AFCAD.
HISTORY OF SCENERY
10. SAScen01.zip. Released mid November 2001. This scenery enhanced the Pretoria area as well as Swartkop (FASK) and Waterkloof (FAWK). This scenery is obsolute and completely replaced by the next version, SAScen2a.
11. SAScen2a.zip. Released early in Jan 2002. Wonderboom (FAWB) and Grand Central (FAGC) added as well as some futher enhancements to the Pretoria area. This scenery is obsolete and completely replaced by the next version, SAScen3.
12. SAAfdUp1.exe and F-serieUpd1.exe. Released mid Mar 2002. First patch to include FAGC as AI airport and to remove the white border lines on the runways.
13. SAScen3.zip. Released mid Apr 2002. AI/ATC capability added to about 30 airports. Enhancements were made to a lot of airports. Patches SAAfdUp2.exe (to add AI/ATC) and F-serieUpd2.exe (to remove/move/add certain features like control towers, etc) were included. This scenery is still current.
14. SAScen4.zip. This release which adds a detailed Johannesburg International Airport. Patches SAAfdUp3.exe (to modify/add the parking spaces and taxiways for AI) and F-serieUpd3.exe (to fix the control tower location and to remove incorrectly placed buildings) is included.
