MD 902 of Kent Air Ambulance. Based at Marden, Kent, England this aircraft is leased from Police Aviation Services. Flown by a PAS pilot and crewed by two Kent Ambulance Service paramedics, it gives a medevac service 7 days a week in daylight hours to the county of Kent and immediately surrounding areas.
The model features animated pilot, nav and strobe lights, animated rotors and animated NOTAR tail can. A degree of poetic licence has been exercised in the design of the cabin area to enable the patient monitoring to be more easily viewed.
This aircraft will work in FS2002 but there is an irritating bleedthrough of internal texture at the front lower right in certain angles of view, which I just cannot seem to cure }:-{ !!!!
Installation.
Unzip to a temporary file.
Copy the contents of the "gauges" folder into the FS2000/2002 "gauges" folder, overwriting where prompted.
Copy "KentMD902" into the FS2000/2002 "aircraft folder. The gauges folder will go with it. It's your choice to either delete it, move it elsewhere or leave it where it is.
In FS 2002 the aircraft will be listed in the "unspecified" aircraft type list.

Sounds / engine start / shutdown.
To shut down engines .....
Tap Ctrl+f2. Engines will slow to 60% rotor rpm.
Tap f4. Engines will slow to 34% rotor rpm.
Tap ctrl+shift+f1. Engines will shut down and rotor will stop. Allow all engine dials to drop to zero.
Engine start........
Tap f1
Tap Ctrl+f4 (nothing happens ! Don't worry, it's not meant to yet)
Tap Ctrl+shift+f4. engine and rotor will start up and accelerate to 60% rotor speed and engine full power.
This model is freeware only and may not be sold, or distributed for sale in any way. repaints are included in this proviso. This readme file must accompany any onward upload or transmission.
Repainting.......
Please feel to repaint this aircraft. Some parts are permanently textured (Tail horizontal fin for example). You will need FSDS to repaint transparent glass areas. Anyone who has FSDS is welcome to mail me for a copy of the .fsc file.
