After unzipping FlyVFR.zip (the registered version) or FlyVFRdm.zip (the
free demonstration version), you have the following files.

1. Read1st.txt -- this file

2. FlyVFR97.doc -- User Guide in Microsoft Word 97 format.

3. FlyVFR60.doc -- User Guide in Microsoft Word ver 6.0 or 7.0 format.

4. FlyVFR.txt -- User Guide in text file format.

5. QuikRef.txt -- Quick reference sheet of FlyVFR keystrokes.

6. Wx.zip -- Wav files for voice Automatic Terminal Info Serv (ATIS).

7. Us.zip -- Wav files for FlyVFR Version 2 Pilot's Voice feature.

8. FlyVFRd2.adv -- free demo flight program, FlyVFR Demo.

9. License.txt -- License agreement.

If you have purchased the registered version (FlyVFR.zip) then you also have

10. FlyVFR20.adv -- the registered version of FlyVFR Anywhere.

INSTALLATION

Copy FlyVFRd2.adv and FlyVFR20.adv (if applicable) into your Microsoft Flight
Simulator 98 adventure folder. the folder's default name is:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\Adv

Unzip Wx.zip and Us.zip into your Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 adventure
wav folder. the folder's default name is:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\Adv\Wav

You also need the FLight Shop converter for FS98 (Fsconv98.exe) and the
Flight Shop voice files (Aafwav.zip). These files are free downloads.
See the User Guide for details of where to find these files. Fsconv98.exe
is a self-extracting file which installs automatically (double click). The
voice files from Aafwav.zip should be unzipped to the \Wav folder, default:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\Adv\Wav

NOTE: The User Guide includes installation details.

USING THE USER GUIDE

It is suggested that you print the User Guide (20 pages formatted).

IF YOU HAVE . . . MICROSOFT WORD 97 or MICROSOFT WORD VIEWER 97

THEN PRINT . . . FlyVFR97.doc - you will have all formats and page numbers.


IF YOU HAVE . . . MICROSOFT WORD 6.0 or 7.0 or MICROSOFT WORD VIEWER 7.0

THEN PRINT . . . FlyVFR60.doc - you will have all formats and page numbers.


IF YOU HAVE . . . None of the above word processors/viewers

THEN PRINT . . . FlyVFR.txt - without formats or page numbers.

NOTES:

1. DOS Edit or most text file editors can be used to print FlyVFR.txt.

2. You can download Word Viewer 97 free from www.microsoft.com. The file
name is wd97vwr32.exe and the size is 3161 Kb.

3. The User Guide includes details on installation and operation of both
programs (the full-featured registered version and the free demonstartion
version). A Quick Reference Guide, Frequently Asked Questions, and Tech
Support information is also included.

4. WordPad allows you to format QuikRef.txt to fit on one sheet.
