This is a quick repaint I did of the Bf109G aircraft for ubisoft's 'IL2 Sturmovik'. I know this file is far from perfect but it was only created in an attempt to familiarise myself with the process of 'skinning' aircraft in IL2. The paint scheme is based on the colours of 'Black 6' which was for a short time a regular on the UK airshow circuit. It's a real shame that after so many years of painstaking restoration that this aircraft will not fly again. Thanks to Ben Rogers for letting me include the photograph of Black 6 in this file.
