This is a revision to CCCOASTX.ZIP uploaded and dated 4/18/06 and only applies
to that version of my California Central Coast Scenery. CCCOASTX.ZIP is
required.

REVISIONS/ADDITIONS:

* Repairs a flashing problem in Santa Ynez hangars.

* The trailers on the 29 approach at Oceano needed some texturing. They are
improved somewhat to be more representative of the RV storage facility
that's actually there. I also made some other changes to L52 to bring it
closer to real life appearance.

* Tidied up and minor revisions/additions to taxiway signs.

* I also made minor changes at SBA A/P.

* I added some low impact static aircraft at the 8 airports in CCC to replace
the frame rate killers I previously had available (CCCF-AC.ZIP). These
were created by Seev Kahn, Israel Roth and Steve Ziegler and have no
noticable impact on FPS that I can see.

* Finally, I converted many of the textures to MipMap's to further smooth out
CCC by decreasing the video card texture load.

The static A/C and MipMap additions could be considered optional if you
don't want to use them.

This scenery is freeware and may be freely circulated except for profit.

INSTALLATION:

1. Unzip all the files from CCCXREV1.ZIP into a temporary directory allowing
extraction of pathnames (directories).

2. Move the 21 files that are in the SCENERY\CCCOAST4\SCENERY directory in
your temporary directory into your CCCOAST4\SCENERY directory allowing
overwrites.

3. Move the single AFD file (AF2_L52.BGL) into your Addon Scenery\Scenery
directory allowing it to overwrite.

4. Move the 63 (or 2) texture BMP's into your CCCOAST4\TEXTURE directory
allowing overwrites. See NOTES: MIPMAPS

5. If desired, move the 8 AC???X.BGL files that are in the STATICAC directory
into your SCENERY\CCCOAST4\SCENERY directory. See NOTES: STATIC A/C.

6. If you will be using the optional static A/C, download and install the
static A/C library/texture file: GA_PLANES_1.ZIP from SurClaro.com.

That completes installation of CCCXREV1.

NOTES:

MIPMAPS
I converted 61 of the textures originally included with CCCOASTX to utilize
MIPMAPs. They are included in this revision as an option. I've found that
with them the performance of the CCC scenery is smoother. If you want to use
them just copy all the textures (63) in this revision into your
CCCOAST4\TEXTURE directory. Otherwise only copy the TRAILERS.BMP and
TRAILERS_LM.BMP into the CCCOAST4\TEXTURE directory. These two textures are
new with this revision and are required. I should point out that you should
have MIPMAP detail level set to at least 4 to avoid closeup blurries with
these and any other MIPMAPed textures including defaults.

STATIC A/C
The static aircraft by Seev Kahn, Israel Roth and Steve Ziegler are quite
friendly and have very little effect on FPS. The eight BGL's for them
(AC???X.BGL) could be placed into the CCCOAST4\SCENERY directory (best idea)
or into the directory where you place the static A/C library file
(GA Planes.BGL). I have them set to be present with a setting of "VERY_DENSE"
so they can be turned off by setting scenery complexity to "DENSE" or lower.
None of these static A/C should conflict with AI aircraft parking or taxi
paths within CCC AFD's as I have them configured. Needless to say these
static A/C can't be used with the previous CCCF-AC static A/C (It's either,
neither but not both).
