Redcliffe YRED &Caboolture YCAB (version FS9)
Includes Pine River's scenery by Mal Lloyd

THese are my latest versions of these two great little General Aviation airports for FS9 (FS2004)
Redcliffe is the next biggest general aviation airport in the Brisbane region after Archerfield. This version is a fairly close representation of the real thing which is the home of 2 flying schools. Many ga and also sport aircraft are hangered here. Watch out for the swamp at either end of the runway.... quite a few aircraft over the years have landed there by accident! Redcliffe is also notorious for crosswinds which can make takeoffs and landings interesting at this airport.Caboolture is a wonderful little grass strip about 10 minutes flying north of Redcliffe. The airstrip dates back to WWII and is the home of a strong warbird/vintage aircraft restoration industry, 3 flying schools, a glider club and also a large ultralight fraternity. Caboolture can be a busy little airport on the weekends and a Vintage GA aircraft spotters paradise!Every 2 years Caboolture plays host to the Festival of Flight, culminating in an excellent 2 day airshow.

These two airports being my "locals" have been a labor of love and everytime I make a visit to either of these I always see something I want to change or add in...so there will be no doubt other versions to follow.... any of you who design scenery yourseves you'll know how this goes! You will note that I have not included the fs2002 afcad files with this version. When AFCAD for fs2004 is released I will do files and release them separately.

Thanks to Ian Thatcher & Mal Lloyd who tested these sceneries for me. Also thanks to Dave Bussy for his static c152 and Tomahawk repaints...... thanks fellas!

Included with this scenery is Mal Lloyd's excellent ad-on scenery for the Pine Rivers and Redcliffe region.. please follow the installation directions included with his scenery .zip file... thanks to Mal for permission to include his scenry in this package.

INSTALLATION.

There is no self-installer for this scenery. Simply add the scenery files to the scenery sub-directory of FS2004's Add-On Scenery sub-directory and the textures to the Add-On Texture sub-directory. Any of you who are old hands at Flight Simulator will probably have your own custom methods for installing ad-on scenery and don't need me to tell you what to do!

NOTE: This scenery add-on requires you to download and install Gerrish Gray's Tree Object Library. (you will se a lot of white squares if you don't) Thanks Gerrish for your marvelous tree api's!They can be downloaded from www,oceaniasim.com, www.tassim.com, Simviation, Avsim, or SurClaro etc. Gerrish, these airports wouldn't have half the character if it wasn't for your great tree macro's and textures.... thanks mate!
Also required are Nova textures which can be downloaded from www.oceaniasim.net
