11/22/99 BUSH LAKE FS2K STILE!

BUSH PILOT SCENERY FOR FS2000

:::::DISCRIPTION and COMMENTS:::::

Thanks for downloading BUSH LAKE. Originally designed for FS98, this version changes the scenery into FS2000 format. With a new location, Bush2K is now 23.5 miles at heading 33 degrees from Anchorage,AK (PANC). Also, several changes were made to make the scenery look more realistic in fs2k.

It's taken a couple of months for me to figure out how to convert my FS98 scenery's for use in FS2K. I don't know how many times I wanted to bang my head against the wall with frustration. But finally, here's my first conversion that works nice! I'm sure you'll enjoy landing on the 2000 foot runway with your favorite Bush Aircraft and there's lots of room for larger Float Planes also.

:::::ACKNOWLEDGMENTS:::::

A Big thanks to Brian McWilliams and the entire Flight Sim Group for creating the
Scenery design program Airport 210 which I used to create this scenery. The APT210
program is a freeware program and is really quite easy to use. Please go to the
Flightsimgroup home page at: http://WWW.Flightsimgroup.com/main.htp and check it out.

Fred Banting deserves much more than a mention for creating some of the very best bush aircraft I've ever used in FS. As you'll notice, I've also used Fred's aircraft as static planes around the lake.

And another thanks goes to Mark Remien. With his Animal Macros, I was able to add the
Wildlife and camp fires around the Lake. "Thanks Mark"

Again, I find myself using those great scenery Macros made by Dan Geis. Please visit
DANS FLIGHT SIM HANGER at:http://members.aol.com/dgeis23328/index.htm There you'll find
Dan's scenery designs and aircraft and of course, his scenery Macro's.
("FIVE SETS of awsome Macros").

:::::INSTALLATION:::::

I must admit, installing scenery into previous FS versions was, kinda hard to learn but with FS2K, Its really easy !! There's now NO typing in PATHS.

Start FS2000 and click on the World menu and Select Scenery Library and guide the FS2K browser to this "Bush2k" folder you've unzipped. ( fs2k will read the folder no matter where you want to unzip it to). Give the scenery a name BUSH LAKE, and click OK. "It's now installed" ! !

To get to Bush Lake from Anchorage.AK, take-off from Anchorage and fly heading 213, OR Click the World menu in fs2k and select GO TO AIRPORT Then click the radio botton for 6.0 Scenery's and before. Now you'll see BUSH LAKE in the window box so just highlight it then click OK!!!!! PLEASE ENJOY!!!!!
