The DC-9-30 were used, during '80, by Aeronautica Militare Italiana (Italian Air Force) as Presidential a/c and V.I.P. transportation. This aircraft, based on the Ciampino Airport, Rome, Italy, belonged to 31st Stormo.This textures set in 'A.M.I.' livery requires the Eric Cantu's original Douglas DC-9/30 (sga930.zip) package.Installation instructions are included. Repaint by Manuele Villa.
This download requires the previous installation of the original S.G.A.(Stewart-Global Aircraft) DC-9/30 package.
1. Unzip dc9_Ami1.zip to a temporary folder, ensuring that you retain folder names.
2. Within the download, move the texture folder 'texture.ami31' to the folder 'SGA Douglas DC-9 30' within your 'Flight Simulator 9/AIRCRAFT/' folder.
3. Copy all the bitmaps contained in the basic folder 'texture' (or another) in the new one WITHOUT overwriting the contained files..
4. Back up the corresponding AIRCRAFT.CFG file (should you wish) and open the original with a text editor. Enter the following section under the last [flightsim.XX] entry, numbering it sequentially:
