INSTALLATION
This download requires the previous installation of the original CONVAIR CV-340 ('short nose' version) package.This plane and many other classic airliners can be downloaded free from Tom Gibson's Classic Airliner WEB site at http://www.calclassic.com/ .
1. Unzip 340_ALIT.ZIP to a temporary folder, ensuring that you retain folder names.
2. Within the download, move the texture folder 'texture.ALITALIA' to the folder 'CV340xx' within your 'Flight Simulator 9/AIRCRAFT/' (or FS2002/AIRCRAFT/') folder.
3. Back up the corresponding AIRCRAFT.CFG file (should you wish) and open the original with a text editor. Enter the following section under the last [flightsim.XX] entry, numbering it sequentially:
