Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this textures set in 'Societa Aerea Mediterranea' livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. Installation instructions are included. This aircraft was used from 1962 until 1965 by Italian 'Societa Aerea Mediterranea'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

INSTALLATION

This download requires the previous installation of the R4D-6/DC-3 package for FS2004/FS2002 available from MAAM-SIM at www.maam.org .

1. Unzip MAAMSAM.ZIP to a temporary folder, ensuring that you retain folder names.

2. Within the download, move the texture folder 'texture.SAM' to the folder 'MAAM-SIM DC-3 - Passenger' within your 'Flight Simulator 9/AIRCRAFT/' (or FS2002/AIRCRAFT/') folder.

3. Copy all the bitmaps contained in the basic folder 'texture' (or another) in the new one WITHOUT overwriting the contained files..

4. Back up the corresponding AIRCRAFT.CFG file (should you wish) and open the original with a text editor. Enter the following sections under the last [flightsim.XX] entry, numbering them sequentially:
