Blohm & Voss BV-222 flying boat "Viking"

by Kazunori Ito

Big!! ..........Very Big!!

I think that this aircraft is one of the largest one in the flying boat that I know.
Anyway, it is huge.
Maybe, I think that the distortion described later occurs without fail in FS2004.

Moreover, it was a fight with the number of polygons for making this aircraft.
It became a lot of numbers that were unexpected and were only by the polygon of the propeller and the polygon of the engine because there were as many as six engines.
Four gunner was going to board it in the schedule.
However, there was at all no such room.
Finally, it becomes a source file that exceeds 10MB.
FSDS2 can only moved as the scene sending.
I think that the ability of CPU is a high favor in managing perfectible of this.
If possible, I want faster CPU.
(Present Pen4 2.4GB...........If possible, 3.0GB or more)

Uuuuuuuum..................I'm poor?????

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Bv222 "Wiking" (Viking) was an aircraft of truly impressive size, and equally impressive characteristics.
It also happened to be the largest flying boat to achieve operation status, and the second largest flying boat of the war. (Surpassed only by it's cousin, the Bv238.)

The Bv222 was designed by Herr R. Schubert and Dr. Ing. Richard Vogt, and was tailored to meet a requirement issued in 1937 for the Lufthansa.
The requirement was for a long-range passenger transport to operate from Berlin to New York.
Furthermore, the aircraft would have to make the trip in 20 hours with at least 16 passengers (24 passengers were to be carried on shorter routes.)

[ About the installation ]

The airframe must copy the \BV222 Viking folder as it is in the Aircraft folder of FS2002 or FS2004.

\FS2002(FS2004)
-----\Aircraft
---------\BV222 Viking

Please copy all files in the \gauges folder onto the gauge in the Gauges folder of FS2002 or FS2004.
A general gauge is saved for the gauge bundled this time.
GPS gauges are necessary besides the bundled gauge.
It is necessary to introduce no possession of these gauges separately.

-----------------------------------------------------------
[ About the operations ]

A special key operation is not used for this model.

"/" = Wing float Open/Shut
Shift+"E" = Exit Door Open/Shut
"L" (Panel light switch) = Cabin light On/Off

To develop the float when beginning to play a game, The state to put out the float is set to spoiler Off.
Therefore, the state to store the float becomes spoiler On. And, The spoiler always works while flying.
However, there is no obstacle in the flight because it sets the effect of the spoiler extremely low.
In an opposite expression, It is not possible to decelerate by using the spoiler. (use "/" Key)

[ About free software ]

All aircraft that I made are free software.
The reprint and the repaint may go freely.
However, please defend the following conditions.

1.The change in contents of this file is prohibited.
(Please distribute it like the Zip file of the current state when distributing it. )
2.Please neither reverse-assembly nor never remodel it of the aircraft model.
3.Please open only the texture to the public when you open the repaint to the public.
(Opening in the state to bundle my aircraft model to the public is prohibited. )
4.It is prohibited to bundle and to open a new panel to the public to my aircraft model.
(Please open only the panel to the public.
It is included in this file, and remodeling the panel that uses the panel background and the change in the panel background are prohibited. )
5.I maintain the copyright of the aircraft model and the panel background.
6.The copyright of the gauge belongs to the author of gauges.

[ About the directions point in FS2004 ]

This aircraft model is made by using FSDS Ver2.24.
Therefore, it is possible to play basically in FS2004(FS9).
However........!!
For a wide large-scale aircraft, the distortion is caused and the phenomenon of the aerofoil tip's disappearing happens in the spot shooting mode.
If this phenomenon happens, Please switch to the spot shooting mode by using other small aircraft.
Afterwards, if this aircraft is selected, it is normally displayed.
