BAe Harrier GR.7

by Kazunori Ito

*******************************************************************************

There might be a person who says, "Harrier is already unnecessary", too.
Still, it is Harrier.
I love Harrier for a long time.
The appearance of Harrier seen with the magazine in childhood is still recalled.
The appearance that rose vertically was reproduction of the aircraft that appeared exactly in SF.
I at that time am very impressed in the shape.
Therefore, Harrier for me is an aircraft of Britain to the last.
It is not the United States aircraft at all.
It is neither BAe nor McDonnell.
It is "Hawker Siddeley Harrier" in my mind.

Up to now, it has never met Harrier of which I can consent.
Then, I decided finally to make it for myself.
But..........., why is it GR.7?
I have always made the aircraft of a little old form up to now.
Therefore, I thought, "Only loved Harrier makes the thing of the latest form".
(though already GR.9 can be being done....)

Anyway, many of technic of me were invested and made.
There is a dissatisfied point still.
However, this is Harrier of my ideal.
What impression does you have in my Harrier?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

The Harrier GR7 is a single seat, multi-role combat aircraft that is capable of operating in extreme environments and from a wide selection of locations, including deployed air bases and aircraft carriers.
The unique feature about the Harrier is its ability to vector its Pegasus engine thrust.
This vectored thrust enables it to operate from short landing surfaces and to take off and land vertically.

[ About the directions point in FS2004 ]

This aircraft can be basically used also with FS2004 because it is made with FSDS Ver. 2.24 .
However, the aerofoil tip might not be able to enter in the screen in the spot taking a picture view because of very wide the width of the aircraft.
Please switch to the spot taking a picture view with other aircraft when this state happens seeming this as it is because the magnification switch of the spot taking a picture doesn't operate well.
Afterwards, if this aircraft is chosen by selecting the aircraft, it is sure to be displayed by a normal magnification.
