Vickers Valiant (BK.1)

by Kazunori Ito

*******************************************************************************

Valiant................? What is .............?
After Victor had been made, several E-mail "Please make Valiant" was received.
However, I did not know what kind of aircraft Valiant was at that time.
It is a shameful situation.
Vulcan and Victor.........................
In my knowledge, there were only these two model as large-scale bomber of Britain.
I retrieved it by the Internet panicking.
hmmmmmmm...................................
Oh dear, it seems not to have been too wrong about my knowledge either.
Because the Valiant one seems not to have been an aircraft that plays a too important role.
Material did not have a lot too much either.
The one that scrapes up little material and was made is this model.
Especially, the description such as lights and spoilers was not found at all.
Please permit when the light is taken to a strange position.

And....................
After Victor had been made, such E-mail was still received from Britain.
"I already have the VULCAN, now all I need is the VALIANT"

"Ah is it so.................?
yah,yah,.............understood !!!. I will never make Vulcan.
And.............I will not upload it even if i makes it. "

This Valiant was made for such reasons.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Valiant is an aircraft manufactured as first V-Bomber of a British air force (RAF).
However, this aircraft never took an active part most only by the nuclear bomb dropping being used for the first stage as a duty.
And,the operation longevity as the aircraft was short though the duty as Tanker had been done.

[ About the installation ]

The airframe must copy the \Valiant folder as it is in the Aircraft folder of FS2002 or FS2004.

\FS2002(FS2004)
-----\Aircraft
---------\Valiant

Please copy all files in the \gauges folder onto the gauge in the Gauges folder of FS2002 or FS2004.
A general gauge is saved for the gauge bundled this time.
EXTRA-300, Beach_baron, GPS gauges are necessary besides the bundled gauge.
It is necessary to introduce no possession of these gauges separately.

-----------------------------------------------------------
[ About the operations ]

A special key operation is not used for this model.

SHIFT+E = Door and Bomb-Bay Open-Shut

The existence of the spoiler was not able to be confirmed for this aircraft.
I did not make it this time though it was likely to be equipped.
I think that there is not liking Bomb bay was opened simultaneously with the door either.
I am also so.
However, the result of a variety of trials, only this method can have been done. What method do I have to use...............?

[ About the directions point in FS2004 ]

This aircraft can be basically used also with FS2004 because it is made with FSDS Ver. 2.24 .
However, the aerofoil tip might not be able to enter in the screen in the spot taking a picture view because of very wide the width of the aircraft.
Please switch to the spot taking a picture view with other aircraft when this state happens seeming this as it is because the magnification switch of the spot taking a picture doesn't operate well.
Afterwards, if this aircraft is chosen by selecting the aircraft, it is sure to be displayed by a normal magnification.
