* Armstrong New Orleans Intl (KMSY) Scenery *

---------------------------------- Description ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Totally redesigned scenery for New Orleans Intl Airport (KMSY)
This scenery took several months to build & was designed by using actual MSY area photos & maps.
It includes New Terminals A, B, C, & D, gate signs, Light poles, main parking garage, airport roads, Veterans Blvd., fire station; overflow parking, static UPS & FedEx aircraft,
and numbered jetways that correspond to my AFCAD2_KMSY.bgl file, even includes a "Welcome to New Orleans" sign.
The Afcad file also makes Runways 01 & 19 open to ATC traffic by increasing
the overall runway length and adding new Overrun areas. This makes for some nice
takeoffs & landings over the Mississippi River & Lake Pontchartrain.
I also included a new LandClass scenery file that adds more trees and grass areas
to the ILS 10 approach. The scenery makes for more realistic landings, especially at night.

*** Requires NOVA & NOVA GOLD textures to view entire scenery.****

-------------------------------- IMPORTANT NOTE -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*** If you have installed my early KMSY scenery, "MSY_GV1", you MUST first start FS2004, Go to Scenery Library and delete "MSY_GV1" then hit OK.******
After you have completed this step, delete the "MSY_GV1" folder from your FS9\Addon Scenery folder.

-------------------------------- Installation ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.Unzip KMSY_Gv1.zip into a folder of your choice. Copy the KMSY_Gv4 folder into your Flight Simulator 9/Addon scenery folder.
2.Copy and paste the AF2_KMSY.bgl file into your FS9/ADDon Scenery/Scenery folder.
3.Start Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, go to the settings tab, then Scenery then click on Scenery Library, and Add Area.
Go to the Add-on Scenery folder and open it, then find the KMSY_Gv4 folder and click on it. MSY_Gv1 will appear in the title window, click OK.
Click the OK tab at the bottom.
4.You must exit FS2004 and restart FS before you can use the scenery.
That's it.
Hope you enjoy it.

---------------------------------- Scenery ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To view the majority of the KMSY scenery, you must set the scenery complexity level to "very dense".
This was done to save on frame rates.

See scenery complexity levels below:

Normal: Terminals & Jetways
Dense: Adds parking lots, rain overhang & airport buildings.
Very Dense: Adds light poles & ramp vehicles.
Extremely Dense: Adds Gate Numbers to terminals C & D.
