Qantas Boeing 747-438 VH-OJB "City of Sydney" Boeing c/n 24373 l/n 746

This aircraft was delivered to Qantas on September 15, 1989. In 1994, an ambitious project was undertaken. This saw the transformation of the aircraft's standard Qantas livery into the current design. Balarinji Designs of Adelaide was commissioned to create the world's largest flying artwork - Wunala Dreaming. Inspired by the colours of the Australian landscape and the legend of the dreamtime the original images were digitised on computer and magnified one hundred times. Two kilometres of blotting paper were used to trace the 67 patterns and 1324 dots onto the aircraft.
