Electras with new start sounds and sound system.

This is the Reeve Aircraft with wing and prop textures that look and

work a bit better in FSX. Included is the PSA aircraft along with it.

Included with the package is the smoke effects.

Installation and Configuration:

Copy the EleTAE folder into your main aircraft directory and backup your old one.

Copy the files from the Effects folder into the main Effects folder and that should

complete the installation.

NOTE: You'll need to go into your graphics settings and under the graphics tab

under Global Options make sure your global texture resolution is all the way up

or your plane will be blurred. This change will not drop your framerate so

its ok maxed out.

Usage: (Its best to start sim with engines off)

On the num keypad hit 0 to activate panel and hit w a few times to get the 2d panel.

Use the Shift + 1-9 keys for the 2d panel controls.

If engines are already started then hit Ctrl + Shift + F1 to shut them off and wait

a few seconds for props to stop. Hit Ctrl + Shift + F4 to turn fuel on to engines.

Hit Shift + 6 twice in the electra to get the 747 engine start panel up above.

Make sure your parking brakes Ctrl + . are activated before starting engines

unless you want your plane flying forwards. Now you can click the black

knobs above one by one or in whatever order you want them to start. Its IMPORTANT

that you push each knob back in after each use or you will run into

a sound loop that wont stop till you push them back in. Once engines are on you

can hit W key to return to the better gauge view for flying.

To use the beta prop pitch sound

(best used on ground while taxi) hit Ctrl + F1 then Ctrl +F2 and Ctrl + F4 to return to normal

for takeoff. Or you can use the red feather switches above in 2d cockpit for same

effect for each engine. Just make sure that they are off before takeoff again.

To shut your engines back off use Ctrl + Shift + F1 and repeat the instructions

above to start them up again. While in flight use the I key to activate smoke for

the aircraft. Happy Flying :)
