Kolona airclub - a small grass airfield, used by skydivers and aerobatic team, flying Yak-18A. It is located to the east from small city of Kolomna, approximately 100 km to the south-east from Moscow, near the mouth of Moscow River.
Airfield is located at N55*07'37" E38*55'07". ATIS 120 ¾, NDB 500 ¾ (fictional).This is a grass airfield.
This scenery include a large area of thermal lift streams, covering area from N56*01'28" E37*20'01" to N54*32'16" E38*55'37". This scenery is compatible with USSR_3A by F. Verbraeken and with MOW_ADD scenery by V. Shilnikov. For best results arrange this scenery above other sceneries of Moscow region.
Scenery includes season texture and thermals number and intensity changes. Because thermal soaring in Russia is impossible during winter season, I also include there area for dynamic ridge soaring. The dynamic lift is maximal at south winds. This area is located to the south from airfield, over the Oka river banks.
