Instalation for FS9 COF
Un-zip then place complete folder into FS9 add-on folder, start FS9
activate RAF Martelsham through settings, scenery libaray, add-area, close
FS9 and then restart, RAF Martelsham has an Afcad so it will be found
in the main UK airfield list.

Also included is a bgl for static aircraft. If you do not want it because of reduced frame rates, go into the scenery file and remove the bgl named: "RAF Martelsham Heath planes.bgl", however after testing, the average frame rate is 18-20 with the AI traffic too.

Included in the download is an AI traffic BGL file by Cees Donker (c.donker@wxs.nl) that makes this base come to life. You must have Wings of Power P-51 for the AI traffic. To get this file working, you must do two things. First: place this BGL file (located in the folder "Traffic") in the Flight Simulator 9/scenery/world/scenery folder. Secondly: download and install the three textures for the Wings of Power P-51 made by Chuck Lawsen.
The file is named wop_356_fg.zip, available at: http://www.SurClaro.com/ and http://www.SurClaro/

The traffic file generates all three planes repainted by Chuck. Set the air traffic density at 60% or more for the AI planes to appear.

Originally an airfield during the First World War and in 1917 became active in
testing in expermimental aircraft. later to become the Aircraft and Armament Experimental
Establishment and was active in testing some of the important RAF designes in the
build-up to WW11 including the Spitfire and Hurricane, During the battle of Britian,
Martelsham became part of 11 group fighter command flying Spitfires, Hurricane's and
Blenheims and was them passed over to the 356th Fighter group USAAF in October 1943.

I would also like to thank the staff at the Martelsham Heath tower museum who allowed
me to make sketch's and take photo's to help with this project. the tower is well worth
a visit and is open on Sunday afternoons 2pm-4.30pm and is found signposted off the A12
at the Martelsham Heath retail park opersite the Tesco superstore

This scenery is freeware, just remember where it came from.
