In addition to all the regular Gmax bells and whistles, I began with what was already a nice repaint by Ben. He did a very nice tail and got all the cheatlines lined up nicely. Nevertheless, this plane has many, many, many hours of meticulous and anal-retentive improvements. When flying at sunset or over some nice scenery, you practically feel you're looking at the real plane.

1. Flies with Wilco 767 PIC panel (full functionality, except aircraft weight is 767 level)
2. Smoother, more realistic night lighting - tail, horizontal stabs, fuse splash, nite windows
3. Correct United Airlines body and cheatline colors
4. Double-sized new hi rez wing textures with overwing exit markers (HUGE, MASSIVE improvement)
5. Engine reverser textures, (weren't there before)
6. Weathering
a. Tail cone grime
b. Dirty rain streaks under windows (found new easy way to do this in PSP7!)
c. Jetway boot stain
d. Accumulation of grime around panel seams
7. All new, crisper window textures with tan/grey window shades
8. Darker fan textures with smoother full power look
9. New nacelle textures
10. New wheel textures
11. Darkened, realistic cockpit windows (you can't see pilots 99% of the time in real life, my pet peeve with most repaints)
12. Air brakes - new texture on reverse side
13. Slats and flaps fixed
14. Gear bay door textures
15. Underbelly silver (unpainted) stripe. Not perfect, though because of the way this model "stretches" textures.
16. Actual N number. N526UA is not ETOPS certified, but I only found one pic of a UAL ETOPS 757 and the N number wasn't visible in the pic.
17. Better US flag textures on fuselage
18. Nosecone outlining
19. Engine exhaust cone corrected, divided with proper reflection, heat stains and grating
20. New horizontal stab textures to match new wing textures (with stab lights at nite)
21. General tinting, lightening, contrast, reflectivity, gamma correction to smooth it all out
22. Shrunk size of less prominent textures, increased size of important some ones (wings) - more bang for the buck, better performance!

Part 2: SOUND SET (Optional):
I worked very hard on this. I fix most of my downloaded sound sets. They are nearly always too quiet on the outside and loud on the inside. The real flight deck of a 757 is fairly muted. The only sound is a muffled groan at full power, the rush of wind and the rattling of panels on take-off and landing rolls. The groan spools up nicely only when the engines are gunned for a prolonged few seconds. Taxi sounds are fairly benign. I tried hard to eliminate artifacts, phasing and static on the sounds. Pretty dang smooth. I fly with Engine sound set at 90% and all other aircraft sounds at about 60%.

You'll also hear I added flaps and gear lever clicks. You can't hear flap motor travel from the flight deck. And gear is inaudible except for the subwoofing thud when the gear slaps down and the bays close. There is also a gutterall thud when the plane hits the tarmac followed by rattling panels. Wind and rattling gradually spool up on the takeoff roll. I have a nice APU sound that switches on when the engines are shut down on the exterior and interior.

This sound set (I'm sorry I'm not sure where it came from but I suspect the config file was done by Aaron Swindle a while back) has been modified to be REALLY LOUD on the exterior and muffled on the interior. Realistic.

Part 3: WILCO PIC SFX SUB-PANEL (Optional):
This is a sub panel for Wilco PIC that gives you lots of nice sound effects at your command.
Flight attendant announcements, general airport sfx, dings, specific single plane takeoffs (press when an AI plane takes off nearby), muzak and United safety briefing (music 1)

Just click the button and the sound plays. Some are looping sounds (music and airport ambience) while others are one-shot. Press the FA Sit to tell your FAs to hit the deck right before you taxi onto the active for instance :-). You have 2 jet takeoff sounds and 1 prop takeoff sounds. When you're waiting near the active and an AI plane hits the throttles, click the button and it will have sound as it roars by. Jet 1 is DC-9/727ish while Jet 2 is A320/767ish. Prop 1 is Dash 8/ATRish.

INSTALLTION:
Pretty simple, really. Unzip to your aircraft folder. You can use the default 777 panel if you don't own Wilco 767 Pilot In Command. Just make sure you copy over some panel folder to this aircraft's master folder or you'll be panel-less.
