ALBION AIR CARGO ORBETELLO SCENERY
----------------------------------

Thanks for downloading this scenery package, which we hope you'll enjoy using.

FS2002 manages to ignore the existence of Orbetello entirely and depicts only half of the dual lake configuration. We hope this package goes some way to correct that and in addition gives seaplane pilots a base from which to operate in this part of the FS world.

The package adds the town of Orbetello itself, the northern lake, the the causway joining the town to the penninsula and the seaplane base including the six hangars built to house the SM-55X flying boats in the 1930s. The characteristic red roofs of the town are produced by changing two of the default textures in FS2002. Please ensure you read the section in the 'Orbetello Readme.txt' file in order to obtain this effect correctly.

If you already have Michele Giandomenico's Transvolata adventure package installed, you will find the two scenery packages can co-exist with only a very small area of interference at the east end of the town. The Albion package reproduces the hangars and seaplane base a little more accurately and the Transvolata flights can be flown from Orbetello as before.

The Albion Empire Airways Short C Class flying boat shown in some of the photos is a special repaint of Jens B. Kristensen's S33 aircraft done by Les Jones, with Jen's permission, and produced to support Albion Empire Airways' African flights.

Albion Air Cargo is a VA with a difference. We fly a wide variety of contracts to all parts of the world, sometimes to places normal VAs don't go anywhere near. Our various Divisions fly a wide variety of aircraft, ranging from Short 360s to Boeing 747-400Fs, and the contracts we fly need to use the various characteristics of our fleet to the fullest. We also fly in different time periods, one of which depicts Albion Empire Airways flights in the 1930s, and this is the reason for publishing this scenery package. We'd like to bring this aspect of our operations to wider audience and hopefully attract some new pilots into Albion.

Please visit our web site at http://www.albionaircargo.com and see the sort of things we do. Please be aware that Albion's operations require an experienced and confident pilot and are not for the faint hearted or ones who aren't fully committed. If you think Albion may be for you please contact our CEO via the site.

Smooth Landings.
