FS2000 PRO ATR v1.0 - autopilot help file

This text will explain the functions of the new Autopilot gauge.

First let me Thank Marco Ravanello, if it was not for his kind
heart this gauge would not exist!

Ok here we go. The autopilot gauge is actually 2 seperate gauge
files, the top gauge being the information display and the bottom
gauge being the actual autopilot functions panel.

The Display has no hotpad or keys, all changes to the display are
done from the bottom function panel, the display colors are almost exactly
as the real ATR, clicking buttons on the bottom AP panel will toggle the
displays on and off.

Please view the atr_ap_pic.jpg for the following information.

1. Heading button to toggle the heading hold on and off
2. Nav button to toggle the navigation for the HSI on and off
3. APR button to toggle the ILS approach hold mode
4. BC button to toggle the ILS back course function
5. IAS hold button, clicking to the left/right will raise/lower the IAS setting
6. ALT hold button, clicking to the left/right will raise/lower the Alt setting
7. This will raise and lower the vertical speed rate
8. AP will toggle the autopilot on and off
9. YD will toggle the yaw damper for the aircraft

There are several buttons not listed, the autopilot panel is exactly like the real
ATR and several of the buttons listed have no function in FS and are there to create
the realism effect.

Hope you enjoy this! I do... :-)
