OPTION #1: OPEN & CLOSED HANGARS

If you prefer closed hangars, add the enclosed file "OBJ_FS9_Hangars_CLOSED.bgl" inside the Scenery folder in the main folder CFB_North_Star_FS9. The following files will then need to be removed from the same Scenery folder:

"OBJ_Hangar_Floodlamps_BRIGHT.bgl"
"OBJ_Hangarfloors.bgl"
"OBJ_FS9_Hangars_OPEN.bgl"

Interior hangar walls and roof detail are omitted with the closed hangar option, which may be of help if performance is an issue. Library objects contained within the hangars remain intact however. This also provides a refreshed option for the scenery, e.g., may be substituted depending on time of year, etc.

OPTION #2: FLIGHTPLANS

Open the folder "AI_Flights_FS9"Add "Traffic_CYNS.bgl" into the scenery subfolder of FS9>Scenery>World and restart FS to activate. The enclosed flightplans are representative of the type of traffic expected at CFB North Star. As plans are custom, the intention being simply to have traffic appear at CYNS, they do not accurately portray any flightplans as provided with the original supplier of the packages. Refer to "WHERE_TO_FIND_THE_AIRCRAFT.txt" for a list of the packages containing the required aircraft. In a few cases the aircraft name may need to be adjusted to match what's listed in the aircraft.cfg file, especially if alternate aircraft are substituted. Many thanks to the folks at http://www.militaryaiworks.com/, http://www.projectai.com/, http://www.world-of-ai.com/ and http://www.trafficsystem.ru/eng/main.php for their fine work which adds a lot of authenticity to our simulator world.

OPTION #3: AF2_TP11.bgl

A few of the included flightplans simulate Soviet bomber incursions over Banks Island, just northwest of CYNS (of course, they're just being curious, no harm intended). I've tested these flights in both FS9 & FSX and everything works for the most part, however there are a few occasions when the bombers appear when they are not scheduled. This probably has to do with the time zone difference between the bomber's origin point and destination, e.g., crossing time zones during it's flight. It may also be due to starting a flight too close to when the bomber is due to arrive and the AI haven't loaded properly (e.g., reportedly FS ought to be running 15-20 minutes before AI traffic settles into it's proper pattern). I've scheduled these flights to occur in morning or afternoon so these problems are minimized. TP11 is not a normal airport of course, but rather a turnpoint, from which the bomber traffic heads back home. If you wish to use AF2_TP11.bgl simply place it wherever your addon scenery is kept.

OPTION #4: CUSTOM LIBRARY OBJECTS

The animated windsock (windsock_lighted.bgl) was obtained from the talented individuals at http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/index.php and was compiled from it's raw .mdl file, and may not be used anywhere without observing the conditions within it's original readme files. I've created a few unique library objects, all of which are included in the SCENELIB_FS9 folder, that may be used by anyone with any freeware project. All I request is that proper credit please be provided in your uploaded project. These files are listed below:

Fire_Extinguisher.bgl
flagpole_condom.bgl
MLVW_Truck.bgl
sign_stop.bgl
sign_yield.bgl

001A_lm.bmp
