Ohakune, New Zealand. ICAO NZOK - Ohakune is famous for its giant size carrots also there is the alpine village for Turoa ski slopes on MT Ruapehu.
The challenge is to land and stop on the summit of the mountain in winter, otherwise just ski down in your cessna or change to glider and glide down back to airport.
There are two runways - 30/12 1500m asphalt for National and International flights and 19/01 900m grass for Aero club and a Helipad.
