Thank you for download the new Version of the Tristar Panel. The main
alteration was the completely rework of the Panel Bitmap. I have changed
most scanned parts with handdrawn Elements so the Bitmap looks much
clearer now. Also the cases of the Instruments are redesigned for a better
3D look. The upper Panel is completely reworked. Now it's more similar to
the real Tristar cockpit.
But not only the Bitmaps were changed. Like in the real cockpit there are
now digital readouts for the Engine-Instruments and the Standby Instruments
are placed correct.
Another important alteration was the rework of the Autopilot. Now the
Autopilot is clearer to the real L-1011. Unfortunately the third Standby
Attitude in the Autopilot is just a Dummy. But maybe in Version 3.0 this
Gauge will also work.
Also new are the radar altitude callouts for the last 400 feets. Please
don't startle if you hear them.
Like Version 1.0 this Panel has also the registration Number of a German
LTU Tristar. You will find this FSFS aircraft on several Flusi websides.
Feel free to change this registration number. You can also contact me if
you don't know how to do this. Just send me an Email with the registration
number you want to see in your panel.

Note:

I couldn't test the panel with the monster 3D-card. So I don't know if it
works correct with it. Sorry :-(

Installation:

You need to have installed Flight Simulator FS98 Converter.
Unzip the gauges.zip to your Flightsim main Gauges directory. If
you already have some of the gauges you don't need to delete them.
They should be the same.
Unzip the Panel.zip and replace the panel.cfg file to the panel
folder of your favourite aircraft. For more reality use a Tristar.
Unzip the Sounds.zip into the sound directory of FS98 (not into the
sound directory of your aircraft!). You don't need to replace the
sound files if you already have them.

Credits:

I would like to thank:
Eric Nabstedt for his good tips to this Panel.
Eric Ernst for his permission to use some of his Gauges.
Harald Geier and Helmut Busch for some of the used Gauges.
The FPDA company for some of the used Gauges.
Stefan Geissler for the EGT Gauge.
Laurent Crenier for his Autobrake Gauge.
Christian Koegler for his Standby Attitude and the Gear-Lights.
Chuck Dome for his Fuel-Gauge.
Glenn Copeland for his Parkbrake Button.
Tony Bolton for his Spoiler Gauge.
Scott Shuford for his great Lockheed Logo.

Feel free to send feedback or comments. I'm looking forward to
your Mails to know in which part of the world this panel is used.
