INFO:

1. Engine start:-

a. Ensure parkbrake os off.
b. Move cutoff levers on throttle quadrant to the up position.
c. Press "Ctrl"+"e" for engine autostart, note if the parkbrake is on the craft has a
tendancy to flip forward and crash.
d. On engine start the craft may surge forward so brake and bring craft to rest and
apply the parkbrake.

2. Conventional takeoff:-

a. Parkbrake off.
b. Full power ( No flaps ).
c. At approx 150 knots take off and retract landing gear.

3. Conventional landing:-

a. Reduce power, gear down and land at approx 120 knots ( Again no flaps ).
b. Note that the cockpit is 40 feet to the right of the craft center so line up
with the runway slightly to the right.

4. VTOL/STOL takeoff:-

a. Parkbrake off.
b. Full flaps ( There are 9 flap positions ).
c. 40% power for lift off and retract gear.
d. To move to level flight gradually increase power while reducing flaps to zero.

5. VTOL/STOL landings:-

a. Line up with the runway and reduce power to minimum.
b. Lower landing gear.
c. When below 120 knots set flaps to their first position ( craft will rise up ).
d. The craft will then drop so increase flaps to full and increase power slightly
to sustain a hover, about 30-32% thrust.
e. Keep left/right movements to a minimum.
f. Land.

THE ABOVE TAKES A BIT OF PRACTICE.
