README FOR MAIT2004.ZIP. December. 2003
***********************************************

Thank you for downloading Maitland Airport scenery. Maitland is situated Approx 75 NM by air from Sydney and is in the wine growing region of the Hunter Valley. It is a privately owned light aircraft, tourist airport and HQ for the Royal Newcastle Aero Club. The flight from Sydney is a pleasant one of about 30 Minutes.

*************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
I have placed the AFCAD file (changed parking positions for AI aircraft) in the scenery folder. If you wish to have the default parking positions working ( don't know
why to would) just remove the AF2_YMND.bgl from the folder. FS2004 will then read the default parking.
***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

This version works well with land class scenery. Land Class scenery changes the MSFS default scenery to show the landscape as it really is, a general rural area.

INSTALLATION
*******************
For those unfamiliar with adding scenery to FS2004 you can follow the steps below.

Open mait2004.zip & extract to a temp folder. Make sure you "use folder names" ticked. This will give you a folder called "maitland2004".
This folder contains all the required scenery files and textures, other than those mentioned below, to display the scenery.
Place this "maitland2004" folder where you normally add your other add on airports.

Now start FS2004 and open the scenery library. Click on "add area" and browse to the "maitland2004" folder.

Single click on the folder it should light up automatically, you won't have to type in any entries in FS2004.

Click OK. Close the scenery library dialog box by clicking OK.

YOU MUST NOW EXIT FLIGHT SIMM & RESTART IT. FS WILL BUILD THE SCENERY & ADD IT TO THE DATA BASE.
************************************************************************************************************

Maitland will now show in the "search addon scenery" in the "go to airport" menu. Here you have several places to start your flight.
Maitland is a default MSFS2004 airport so you can search for it in the normal way.

You will need APT (Airport 2.10 +) ASD, VOD, NOVA and NOVA GOLD TEXTURES, in your FS2004 main TEXTURE folder, for this scenery to show correctly.
