Many addon sceneries, including this one, utilize Gerrish Gray's trees. The following method to install the trees is intended to make your setup more efficient, and follows the recommendation of Gerrish. This will eliminate unnecessary copies of similar files.

A. Installation:

1) Make backups of the main folders FS2002\Scenery and FS2002\Texture.

2) Go to MYEO\Trees\Scenery and copy Trees_0.bgl to Fs2002\Scenery. This is the latest release as of today so, if asked, you can overwrite any previous copy.

3) Go to MYEO\Trees\Texture and copy all the tree textures into FS2002\Texture. Again these are the latest versions. You can overwrite any previous copies.

B. Removing double copies:

1) First and important, I strongly recommend that you make a temporary backup of the full directory where you keep your scenery addons; if you have many, at least back up those sceneries that use Gerrish's trees and from which you are going to remove files. These backups can be deleted after you have made sure that all sceneries are working fine.

2) Check all addon sceneries that you have installed on your system for FS2002; first see if they are using Gerrish Gray's trees: to do this, open their Scenery folder and see if there is a file called Trees_0.bgl. If there is, then they are using them, and you can delete this bgl file, and the files in their Texture folder that have names starting with Conifer_ and Tree_ .

This way, unnecessary copies will be removed, and any potential conflict between the different copies will be eliminated.
