This is my newest painting. It is not perfect, but it is something. I tried to make a very realistic texture, but the original model is quite hard to work with. There are a few little problems that I could not solve, like the fuselage junction, the lights behind the windows and the blue tone, which I tried to get as close as possible from the actual color. But the overall project is OK.
The McDonnel-Douglas MD-11 was VASP's biggest and best aircraft ever. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful airplane ever. The Company stopped its operations in february, 2005, under federal intervention. At this moment, VASP is trying to elaborate a plan to recover its capability to operate again.
To install the aircraft (very easy):
- Unzip the downloaded file anywhere in your HD.
- copy the folders "model", "model.vc", "panel", "sound" and "texture.de" to your "aircraft" file, often located in "C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/aircraft/".
- then copy the content of "Effects" folder to "C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/Effects/".
=======> To install the missing Gauges: extract the zip that includes the gauges and read the .txt file that explains how to proceed with the install (Gauges made by Exx).
