LAVRENTIYA AIRPORT (Icao code: UHML)

This is an airport missing in Fs9.

It is situated in the Russian Region of Tchoukotka, in the Grand North, on the Russian banks of the Behring Strait.

Although it is in the right location, I've made it fictional, rather than photorealistic, since the real one is rather a muddy strip, hardly usable.

About 50 nm from the Alaskan coast (east-north-east)

SKETCHUP

WALES AIRPORT (Icao code: IWK)

Default FS9 (enhanced)

Aditionnal scenery and credits:

- RWY12 (Generic buildings & scenery, Seev Khan's ag_trees & static aircrafts, dwag_signs)

- The runway tire marks were created by Jaxan Prier & Jose Gutierrez (Mach-1 design Group).

Runwaylength (UHML): 1490 meter
Navaids: none.

INSTALL:
Unzip in temporary folder.
Move Lavrentiya folder into Addon Scenery folder.
Move Wales folder into Addon Scenery folder.
Open FS9 --> Settings --> Library --> add area --> Addon Scenery --> Lavrentiya --> OK.
Do the same for Wales.
Close FS9.
Restart FS9.
To find Lavrentiya airport: search for Russia, and than either Tchoukotka --> Lavrentiya, or tape UHML in the ICAO box.
To find Wales: United States --> Alaska --> Wales (or IWK)
That's all.
Enjoy.

In order to see all of the scenery correctly displayed, you must have the RWY12 libraries installed.
In SurClaro.com, search for: rwy12_lib1_v1.2.zip &
rwy12_lib2_v1.2.zip &
rwy12_lib3_v1.2.zip.
Install tutorial is included in the RWY12 package.

AI Traffic:
I've also included some traffic files. The aircrafts are russian/soviet Antonov-24, Yak-52, Mi8T (helicopter), and the FS default Ford Trimotor.
In SurClaro.com, search for: cis_an24_basepack.zip
20947-AI-Yak52.zip
The helicopter AI-Mi8T-var2[6].zip is to be found at:
http://www.avsimrus.com/files.phtml
Install is simple and straightforward: unzip the files in the FS9 aircraft folder. That's all.

Suggestion: make a flight around midnight, from Wales to Lavrentiya (or vice versa) setting the season to end of June. With the time zone, quite well displayed in FS9, you will see the midnight sun, just above the horizon.

Thanks to:
This is my first attempt to create an airport. Without the help and advices of David "Opa" Marshall, "Stringbean", and "jgf", there's little chance that this creation would exist.

Tested in FS9 only, feel free to try it in FSX.
