FS2004 MOONEY ENGINE SOUND FIX
************************************
By Leon "pancreas" Medado
Final Release Version
Freeware released during late August, 2003

DESCRIPTION:

-This fixes the Mooney's internal engine sounds in two ways: 1) It corrects the stereo sound field so that most of the sound will come from slightly to the right. This simulates (In a much better manner than the last version) being seated in the left seat. 2) Increases the low-end to produce a more throaty, heavier feel appropriate to such an aircraft. The sounds are based off the uncompressed versions included on disk 3 of FS2000.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Extract all the WAV and CFG files into your FS2004 folder. You may want to backup the sound folder under mooney_bravo first.

Use the "Use folder names" option when using WinZip or drag the Aircraft folder into your FS2004 folder when using WinXP/ME's Explorer.

This should overwrite the defaults. If you didn't back them up they can be extracted from MSGAME1.CAB on one of the installation CDs (There are various means of extraction, I can't cover them all here.)

2. Naturally I recommend that you set Sound Quality to High. The Sound Volumes should be set to your preference.

NOTES:

I pulled the last version because I edited it using the wrong parameters in my sound card software.
