Lancair300 New Spirit of St Louis 10 May 2002
with Custom Panel.
(File LC300.zip)

1. Unzip to a temporary folder.

2. You will find the Lancair300 aircraft folder, a Gauge Folder, a Project/GaugeCredits/Info folder, and some assorted photos and a PDF file..

a. Copy (or cut and paste) the Lancair300 folder to your FS2002\Aircraft folder.

b. Copy the contents of the Gauge folder ( five special non-Microsoft gauges) to your FS2002\Gauges. Overwrite only if these gauges are newer than what is on your system).
All the other gauges are stock Microsoft FS2002 .

c. The contents of the Gauges descriptions and credit folder are for your own info, as are the photos, the file.id.diz text document, the Erik Lindbergh.pdf document and this Read Me. Pitch or keep as you see fit. If you read the Lindbergh.pdf file, you'll see that this young man has conquered and achieved much more in his life than flying solo across the Atlantic Ocean !!

3. I have used (aliased) the default C182 sound in this aircraft. It is probably the best piston engine sound for this particular aircaft. It's pretty close to the Lancair Columbia's IO- 550-N
engine sound. (Saves disk space on your system too !!).

4. The panel is as close as I could get it to the Lindbergh Lancair Columbia 300 aircraft. I have used some artistic license. Hitting the Collective display toggle replaces the GPS display with a photo of a Sectional Chart. Just some eye candy. The GPS display is always on so there is no GPS Icon. Starter and fuel gauges are in their own separate window (Throttle Icon). The Radio Stack ( with Autopilot) has it's own window too.

5. Since I couldn't create and issue this aircraft prior to Erik Lindbergh's New York to Paris flight,
of May 1-2, 2002, or prior to the 75th Anniversary of Charles A. Lindbergh's flight of May 8th, 1927, at least you have it now!! As you probably know by now, Erik is the grandson of Charles Lindbergh. He is quite a remarkable young man.

6. Enjoy your flights !!!
