Introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Marathon is right about at the midway point between the start of the Keys and Key West. It's one of the two Keys airports that has scheduled air service, and just recently had major renovations done to its terminal building. It's a great little place to stop off when flying, low and slow, from Miami to Key West.
This is just an update of my FS2002 scenery, with a few minor adjustments to make things work in FS2004.
What you will need
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

FS2004 is required (obviously). This scenery utilizes the updated textures from FS2002/4, and so I can not say that it'll work at all in previous versions.

It would also be a good idea to install the Airport 2.10 textures in your main FS Texture directory. These files are available at SurClaro in the "Must Have Files" section, and also at AVSIM.

This file includes a AFCAD for the airport. While it is not a requirement for AFCAD to be installed for FS2004, it's definitely worth installing. AFCAD is available at AVSIM and other fine file distribution centers.

Installation
~~~~~~~~~~~~
This scenery is very simple to install and use. The BEST method for
installing this scenery is:
1) Make sure you have disabled or removed ALL previous or other
Marathon sceneries (if any) to prevent conflicts.
2) Unzip the downloaded scenery file. Everything should fall into its respective folders.
3) Move the KMTH folder containing all the files into your FS2002 ADDON SCENERY folder, or any other folder of your choosing.
4) Move the AF2_KMTH.bgl file into your ADDON SCENERY\SCENERY folder. This is your AFCAD, and is required in order for this scenery to work.
5) Fire up Flight Sim, and go into the World/Scenery Library section.
6) Click on the ADD button, and add KMTH to your scenery list.
7) Fly and enjoy!
What you'll see
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Microsoft left a bit to be desired at Marathon. All the apron areas were just basic squares, and they completely left out the area at the eastern end of the airport. So, I removed or reshaped most of the apron areas, and added a few others. I then added the eastern hangars and taxiways, and, of course, more trees and shrubs (as most airports in Florida are STILL way too light on the plant-life in FS2004). I did my best on the terminal (I had some good pics), and the hangars (I didn't have many pics). Everything should be in their proper areas, although I did have to guess a little bit about external looks in places where all I had was "top-down" shots.
