Japanese Air Self Defence Force (JASDF) C130H "Komatsu Airbase 40th Anniversary" Colour Scheme of the 401st Squadron, 1st Tactical airlift Group.

This file contains textures only for Mike Stone's C130 Hercules depicting a Herc based at Komatsu Airbase, Japan.

You will need Mike's original aircraft file with drop tanks. This can be downloaded, along with his recommendation for a panel, at www.pmstone.com

You'd be well advised to hunt around for some decent sound files as well to further enhance your flying experience.

TEXTURE LIMITATIONS!

This work is based on the (very few) photos available on the net. All credit to those photographers who took the trouble to put them there. There are a few TINY snags with Mike's model that show when painting it. This is made as a statement of fact and not as a criticism! I have included a different texture for the external tanks that you can add by simlpy cutting and pasting the lower texture of 'tank_t' over the upper one. I've left it off mine because of a minor problem with mirroring of the lettering which spoilt the overall effect for me. You will also notice some very small texture bleeds which I have been unable to fix. Sorry but there is little that is perfect in life!

INSTALLATION

As ever, download and unzip this file to a temporary location. Copy the texture folder into your C130 folder. Open the c130 aircraft config file and then cut and paste the following text into it (remembering to change the 'X' in the first line to the next sequential number).
