FS2004/FSX DOUGLAS DC-7 (AMERICAN AIRLINES LIVERY)

Original panels by Ken Mitchell (justmitch@charter.net), given a "makeover" by George Carty (George.Carty@dunelm.org.uk). Featuring dark panel background, authentic number typeface and functional Weather Radar set.

Visual model built and painted by Greg Pepper, Max, and Tom Gibson (tgibson@sunstroke.sdsu.edu), modified by George Carty to remove duplicate main wheels. Flight Model by Tom Gibson.

Sound set by Des Braban (driver.des@btinternet.com), with startup and shutdown sounds modified from sounds by Tom Gibson.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR FS2004
------------------------------------

Simply unzip directly into your Flight simulator directory (the default is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\")

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR FSX
---------------------------------

1. Unzip to a temporary directory.
2. Move the "Gauges", "Effects" and "Sound" folders into your FSX home directory (the default is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\"), merging with the existing folders.
3. Open the "Aircraft\DC-7" folder, delete the "aircraft.cfg" file and rename "aircraft-fsx.cfg" to "aircraft.cfg".
4. Open the "Aircraft\DC-7 Panel" folder, delete the "panel.cfg" file and rename "panel-fsx.cfg" to "panel.cfg".
5. Move all folders within the "Aircraft" folder to the "SimObjects\Airplanes" subfolder of your FSX home directory.

NOTES
=====

The Weather Radar set requires FSUIPC (at least version 3.50 licensed or 3.71 unregistered). If an appropriate version of FSUIPC is not found, the radar screen will be covered with an "Unserviceable" sticker.
