Mr. Michael Dohetry has given our community one of the most awesome answers to breaking up the boring $100 hamburger runs. Doherty's Difficult & Dangerous Approaches has put the "Holy *$@#" back into seat of the pants flying. I commend him for the time and commitment he has put into this project.
As I have both missed volumes of his Approach files, and lost everything due to hard drive failures, I thought one complete download would be nice for the rebuilding flightsimmer, or those new to the Difficult & Dangerous Approaches series. Mr.Dohetry has kindly allowed me to compile his Difficult & Dangerous Approaches into one file. Due to the size of this file, I have not included the pictures that are included in each of the seperate downloads, though all of his original documentation is included. If there is interest, I would be happy to upload the entire Difficult & Dangerous Approaches picture gallery.
Installation.
If you are reading this, your halfway there. Along with this document, there will be a folder called "Doherty's Difficult & Dangerous Approaches Vol 01 thru 63." Just copy that folder into the Flights folder within FS9.
Now open Flight Simulator 9, go to 'Select A Flight' click on it and 'Doherty's Difficult & Dangerous Approaches Vol 01 thru 63' will be displayed. Click on it and all of the approaches will appear in the box below.
As Michael has done an excellent job with his files, any errors or mistakes in compiling his files are mine and I apologize in advance.
