INSTALLATION WITH FS95 / FS98:
Easy way:
Unzip all the files into a directory of your choice and start
SETUP.EXE. Then start SETUPWET.EXE.
THE USE OF SETUPWET.EXE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
Start WETTER2.6 and have fun!
If you like it harder:
1.) Unzip all the files except the files named under 2. into a new directory of your choice
(e.g.: C:\FS98\WETTER)
If you have previously installed another version of WETTER, overwrite all the older files.
2.) Unzip LAST95.STN into the PILOTS-subdirectory of FS95 (e.g. C:\FLTSIM95\PILOTS) and rename it to LAST.STN
Unzip LAST98.STN into the PILOTS-subdirectory of FS98 (e.g. D:\FLTSIM98\PILOTS) and rename it to LAST.STN
Unzip FS6IPC.DLL into your flightsim's MODULES directory
(IMPORTANT: FS6WXIPC.DLL has to be in your WETTER directory!!!!)
Unzip all the .PAT files into your flightsim's TEXTURE directory.
Unzip all the .BGL files in a subdirectory of your flightsim's SCENERY directory. The name of the subdirectory has to be SNOW.
So there will be a SNOW directory in C:/FS98/SCENERY/SNOW/SCENERY - put all the .BGL-files here.
You will have to create a texture directory: C:/FS98/SCENERY/SNOW/TEXTURE - this texture directory is empty!
3.) IMPORTANT: WETTER is a Visual Basic 6 programme. All the runtime files should be installed after the use of SETUP.EXE.
4.) Start WINDOWS explorer, and search for the directory, where you installed WETTER.
Create an entry in the WINDOWS desktop menu.
5.) If you ever want to uninstall WETTER24, just delete all the installed files (except the VB4 files).

MOST OF THESE OPTIONS ARE SET, IF YOU USE SETUPWET.EXE FOR SETUP!
ATTENTION: SETTINGS IN FLIGHT SIMULATOR:
OPTIONS - PREFERENCES - GENERAL - WEATHER GENERATION= NOT TICKED! (off)
OPTIONS - PREFERENCES - GENERAL - USE ADVANCED WEATHER DIALOG=TICKED (on)
OPTIONS - PREFERENCES - FLIGHT OPTIONS: Load with all flights: AIRCRAFT, WEATHER, WINDOW POSITIONS must be ticked (ON), if you don't use the MORE AREAS option,
OPTIONS - PREFERENCES - FLIGHT OPTIONS:Load with all flights: WEATHER must be ticked (OFF), if you use the MORE AREAS option,
DYNAMIC SCENERY may be ticked, too.
