If you already have Hangar Manager installed, use the Windows Add/Remove Programs utility to remove it. The Remove Program should leave the initialization and registration information etc. intact. Then install version 3.6 to the same directory you had Hangar Manager installed in previously.
To install version 3.6, run the setup.exe program.
