1. Introduction
---------------

You could have seen this extra-terrestrial ships in the movie
"Independence day". If you saw this movie, no extra comment is necessary.
For the others, here is at least basic information:

A giant space ship approached the Earth. After she parked
on the Earth's orbit, a number of smaller ships were launched
which started to descent to the Earth. Then these smaller ships - each
measured 16 miles in diameter - hovered over the biggest cities on Earth.
People didnĀ“t feel anything wrong, until these cities were destroyed
- therefore the ships are called "City Destroyer".
People start to fight, but the "Destroyer" works also as a "mother ship" for
small attackers, which will devastate most of Earth's air forces.
The chance of survival seems minimal.
Now the well known "Area 51" enters the picture. There people
store one flying saucer, which crashed on Earth after WWII near Roswell
and which comes to life now ...

What do you think, how will the story end?
I will not tell you, try to get this movie e.g. on videotape.
For Sci-fi fans is it a must, for the others is it at leats good enjoyment
with excellent special effects.

2. CFS Installation:
---------------------

Unzip files from this archive to your CFS "Scenery" folder.
The folders structure should look then as follows:

CFS

|
-Id4
|
|-scenery
|-texture

Files *.BGL should be in the folder SCENERY
Files *.*AF should be in the folder TEXTURE

3. How to activate your new scenery:
------------------------------------

[1] In the opening screen select "Free flight", when you are
in the plane's cockpit,
select menu: World -> Scenery Library... -> Files -> Add

( if you don't see the menu, activate it by key ALT )

[2] I the dialog box fill these items:

Scenery area path: =:\=\scenery\Id4\scenery\*.bgl

Scenery area type: Global

[3] Check "Scenery area active"

[4] OK

4. How to fly around Destroyers:
--------------------------------

Destroyers in this archive are above 3 areas.
Every Destroyer has its own BGL file and all have common textures.

New York ... file DestNY.bgl
London ..... file DestLond.bgl
Prague ..... file DestPrag.bgl

You can see the Destroyer over London e.g. these ways:

1. In the opening screen select "Quick combat", and as your "Start location"
select Airfield:

ID4LON_flattop

Then you can fight above the Destroyer.

2. In the opening screen select "Free flight", and as your "Start location"
select Airfield:

Biggin Hill

Then you will se the destroyer's bottom from the ground.

There are 2 airports within each Destroyer -
on the top of destroyer's "tower roof" and a "beehive" inside the "tower"

You can access them simply by following this procedure:

[1] Menu: World -> Go to -> Airfield
[2] Select desired airport:

ID4LON_flattop ..... London, Destroyer's "tower roof"
ID4LON_inside ...... London, Destroyer's "beehive"

ID4NY_flattop ...... New York, Destroyer's "tower roof"
ID4NY_inside ....... New York, Destroyer's "beehive"

ID4PRG_flattop ..... Prague, Destroyer's "tower roof"
ID4PRG_inside ...... Prague, Destroyer's "beehive"

[3] OK

Or this way ...

[2] Global region: select "Destroyers"
[3] Country: select "Any"
[4] Search result list: select desired airport:
[5] OK

5. Known problems:
------------------

When you are flying above Destroyer, you can see bleed through
of some 3D objects on the ground.
You can see a jerky shadow during the landing on Destroyer's airports.
( you can possibly switch off aircraft shadow in the CFS configuration )
