The following airport/system is outstanding for use as feeder hubs,
as part of a jumbo jet expressway covering a country. Smaller planes would
fly from the hubs to the local airports. NO MORE EMPTY SEATS OR CONGESTED
TERMINAL AREAS!!!

Note: the following is for a very large airport. Smaller layouts can also
use this design/system, but they would not be as effective. This demo
airport, called TEXAS WORLD AIRPORT, needs about 25 square miles of land, if
built in the real aviation world.

OVERVIEW
There is, or will be, an urgent need for very large, highly efficient, super
airports that move traffic at a far greater speed than the present, OUTDATED
designs. Look at Denver International. They took an old fashioned one-runway
system, multiplied it a number of times, and spreaded out the results at a
great distance from the loading terminals. This should not have been done!!!
There is no reason for a plane to travel thru an almost endless maze of
restricted and confusing taxiways just to get to the active runway. Time is
money to the airlines and business traffic! With my system, in the early
morning hours, a plane can take off in almost no time! You don't go to a
runway, it comes to you! Or more specific, terminals and loading areas are
located close to the runway. But this is just one aspect of my design. You
know the risk that they take when they do simultaneous, closely vectored
approaches with two parallel runways. With my design, for example, you can
have up to eight planes landing and taking off AT THE SAME TIME!! And with
total safety! The airliners won't be close together either! To conclude this
overview, the key to making this system--AND THIS IS A SYSTEM, NOT JUST AN
AIRPORT--work is the need for a considerable parcel of land. But the un-used
parts can be leased for a high rate, and would attract a lot of aviation, and
non-aviation interests. The tourist value alone would pay off handsomely!
Everyone will want to come to see this unique airport!

SOME PARTICULARS
There are NO taxiways at my airport!!! NONE IS NEEDED!!!! However, there are
turn-offs, taxi lanes, and guide light paths. The lanes and paths are NOT
geographically isolated. This means you can ignore them. Almost endless
traffic flow configurations can be made, taking into account local conditions
and time-of-day, and so forth. (Turn-offs can get your plane to the ramp in
minutes!} There is no more than a 22 and 1/2 degree crosswind angle: the
runways face many directions. A computer version of the airport, with moving
planes, using Microsoft Flight Simulator 98, is contained in this package.
