README.TXT

FS2002/FS2004 features for the pilotable Japanese battleship Kongo from 1941 (download from Usio no Ibuki required).
This is a very detailed CFS2 model (without VC). It is from Masazumi Kaneko from Usio no Ibuki. My AddOn provides a pilotable ship with bridge, 9 deck views, AA-gun- and guncontrol views, sounds and special effects.
Two view showes a Aichi Jake seaplane on top of the catapult. Bitmaps and configuration by Erwin Welker

INSTALLATION:

1. Install my folder "IJN Battleship Kongo" with my panel, sound, aircraft.cfg and airfile first.

2. Copy the Gauges and Effects into the mainfolder of FS2004/2002. I can't test my addon in FS2002 but normally all CFS2 stuff runs in FS2002 and also the gauges and effects should work.

3. Make a download from:

http://www.geocities.jp/usio_no_ibuki/index.htm

Choose - "Ships" - "Battleships" - "Kongo"

4. Copy from the zipfile !!only!! the Model and the Texture into the folder for the pilotable version, named "IJN Battleship Kongo"
!!!Do not copy the sim.cfg! It is only for ai-ship!!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features:
Initiate all of the effects with the L-key, fire the main guns by using the key for strobe lights, use Smoke system for distant explosions at 90 and 270 deg.
The explosions at 9 and 12 o'clock are time delayed.

Views: Use the numpad keys. For some extra views please hit key5 first (shift funktion) and then other numbers regarding the desired direction. (5&2 = bow view)
