Hollywood, CA. FS2002. Version 1
--------------------------------------------
When I purchased FS2002 I was eagerly anticipating the new scenery
and quickly took off from my local airport and headed for the Los Angeles Basin. The Hollywood sign was on the floor and did not appear to belong there. After installing the very latest Los Angeles Terrain Mesh authored by Orlando Sotomayer I was convinced that it needed putting back!. The Microsoft Hollywood sign is placed under Mt. Hollywood where the Griffith Observatory is located. Not being able to find this famous landmark, I added it! This is my first attempt at scenery. Later I'll be adding night lighting to the observatory. The sign itself is not lit at night.

Hollywood Sign and Radio Tower placed on the top of Mt. Lee, where it belongs. Also included is the Griffith Park Observatory which is located on Mt. Hollywood.
Works really well with Orlando Sotomayor's Los Angeles mesh. lax1sab.zip

His work includes a Landclass file which is based on newer land class usage. This prevents autogen office buildings all over Griffith Park.

Installation
------------
Unzip the Hollywood file to a spare folder, there you will find a folder titled Hollywood plus the readme files (this one). In the Hollywood folder are the scenery and texture folders, so all that you need to do is place the Hollywood folder into the main Scenery folder of FS2002. Then when in FS go to the scenery library and add new scenery dialog box, open scenery, locate Hollywood, highlight and then add scenery title. FS will do the rest. You will note that there are now no flatten or exclude lines to add to the config file, these are now included in the bgl files.

------------
This program is freeware but I would request that you do not change it in anyway or it to be used for any commercial purpose without my permission. I would be grateful for any comments etc.
