FS2002 Scenery
HAMILTON ISLAND (YBHM) - QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA.

This FREEWARE scenery is an add-on to
the default flight simulator sceneries.

The FS2002 default Hamilton Island is totally flat. In real life it is rather mountainous.
Dent Island 700 metres to the west of Hamilton Is is not included in the default scenery. It can now be found as part of this scenery.
Hills and obstruction lights on Hamilton and nearby islands have been included, where indicated on the AirServices Australia charts. These charts can be found at their web site.
Numerous islands which remained flat have been given 100 to 200 feet high terrain.
The observatory can also be found on the top of the mountain to the north of the island.
The navigation aids, control tower and the three prop planes in front of it are part of the default FS2002 scenery.

Flightplans for FSNavigator 4.51 are also included.

Produced using Airport 2.6
Airport 2.10+ textures, VOD, ASD textures required but not included.

INSTALLATION

1. Unzip to a temporary folder. Be sure to tick "use folder names".
This will create a folder called HAMILTONISLAND. It will contain the scenery and texture folders. Place this into your FS2002 Addon Scenery folder.
The following four files should be in the scenery dirctory.
HamiltonIs.bgl
hami_EX2.bgl
hami_EX1.bgl
aham_EX1.bgl
ShipMacroLib.BGL

It is VERY IMPORTANT that the Bgl file ShipMacroLib.bgl is installed in
the Scenery Directory, otherwise part of the scenery macros will not appear.

2. Start FS2002 and open the world/scenery library.
Click on "add area" and browse to your new HamiltonIsland scenery folder.
Single click on the folder name and fill in the scenery area title box.
Call it whatever the like.
Click OK.
Open the world/goto airport/Oceania/Queensland/Hamilton I/OK, and start flying.

3. If you want to use the flightplans, you need to have FSNavigator installed. (Find it in the"must have files" section at SurClaro).

Install the .FSN files in the FSNavigator 'PLAN' directory.
