Huetter H-17
**************

Inspiration to build a cyber model come from my visit to Harris Hill when they were having their International Vintage Sailplane meet in the summer of 2005. My attention was drawn to a very small sailplane being towed by an ATV to the towplane area. It looked like it could have been a scaled down version of a larger plane but I learned later it was a Huetter H-17. If they were really going to hook this up to a towplane and fly it, I assumed it would be a short flight as the wing area was quite small. Much to my surprise when I left to go home some time after it was towed up, the Huetter was still way up there looking like it would never come down. I would have liked to get some photos of this little gem but it was time for me to leave. Since I had just upgraded to FS2004 and had purchased FSDS I was looking for a subject for my first project. Looking through my books when I got home, 3 views were found of the Huetter which become my first project for FS9.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I would like to thank Wolfgang Piper for his many replys to my questions, and Chris Gordan.
Many thanks to my good friends and beta testers Marcos Borges and Francisco Vargas who took time to check this plane for me. Also thanks to Francisco for the many thermal fields he has created that enables me to stay aloft many places around the world.

Wolfgang Piper and Max Roodveldt have both graciously given me permission to use their gauges. I should mention that I have used some of Microsofts gauges.

LEGAL STUFF

If you feel you have to use some of my work and claim it as your own, you do me a great honor as it must be worthy of stealing but it would be kind of nice to get credit for it.
